A Girona memory
The photographs complete the table.
The earlier memory held the bubble cloud. These frames bring the rest of the day back: the four friends at the table, the wooden entrance, a board of opening bites and courses presented with the calm, precise visual language that stayed with them.
The menu moves through porcine and hazelnuts, eel and figs, Girona pepper, autumn tubers, char-grilled eggplant, squid, fish, langoustine, lamb, duck, figs and mató, an old book and blackberries with chocolate.
A table becomes clearer when the people and the place return with it.
