Disfrutar

A restaurant where a small sandwich became gazpacho, two peppers became bonbons, and every course asked you to look again.

The surprise is the point

Nothing was quite what it seemed.

Disfrutar was Jordi’s greatest wow effect: not because one course shouted the loudest, but because the entire meal kept changing the rules of what a plate could be.

The menu itself asked what lies behind the food — friendship, creativity, technique, memories, sensations. At the table, those words became more than an introduction. They became part of the experience.

You saw bread. Then you tasted soup.

Small sandwiches arrived with a cognac glass containing a fine spray of vinegar. The moment the sandwich reached the mouth, that aroma changed everything: bread became gazpacho. It was a simple gesture, but it made the course feel completely new.

Two small illusions

Look once. Then taste again.

The bonbon peppers

Two perfectly formed peppers sat on a dark plate. They were not peppers at all, but bonbons — a visual joke that became more impressive with every bite.

Beyond the pairing

Even the designated-driver pairing had its own twist: distilled wine, served at a different temperature with most of the alcohol removed, but a recognisably familiar flavour.

Personal highlight

The biggest wow effect.

Disfrutar made surprise feel thoughtful rather than theatrical. It was playful, precise and completely confident — a reason to return, now that the restaurant holds three stars.
