A table that can still be revisited.
This entry begins with the photographs: a familiar dining room, a carefully composed plate, a dessert that looked like a small peach, and the illuminated sign outside.
Jordi visited De Karpendonkse Hoeve with Rob Stad on 8 February 2019. The restaurant is no longer open, which makes these small frames feel more valuable: not a review, but a record of a night that happened.
Some tables disappear. The story of being there does not have to.
The details can grow later, whenever more comes back to mind. For now, the images hold the place in Jordi’s atlas.
